It is a time of remixes! The best part of remixes is that they become an instant hit with the audience. But the question is whether the music director is able to do justice to the song like how the original creator was able to. The latest song to enter the remix list is ‘Rathiri Nerathu Poojayil…’ and this number has been remixed by Vijay Antony in ‘Sattapadi Kuttram’ an S.A. Chandrasekaran creation.

Vijay Antony the man of the day was in high spirits during the event.

‘Sattapadi Kuttram’ has been inspired by the director’s ‘, Sattam Oru Iruttarai’ that released in 1981 starring Vijayakanth. The film became a huge success and carved a place for the hero in the Tamil film industry. The audio of ‘Sattapadi Kuttram’ was launched on March 14 and the venue was Kamala Theatre. The chief guests, SAC’s guru VC Guhanathan and SAC’s student director Shankar released the audio.

The ‘Kuthuvillaku’ was lit by ‘Ilaya Thalapathi’s mom Shobha and his wife Sangeetha. Actor Vijay who was supposed to take part in the event was a no show because of hectic shooting schedules for his upcoming ‘Velayudham’. The guests for the show comprised of Actor Jeeva, Seeman. RK Selvamani, Rama Narayanan, Kalaipuli S Thanu, Perarasu, Editor Mohan, Kamala Theatre owner V Chidambaram and the entire cast of the film like Vikranth, Bhanu, Harish, Aishwarya, and director-actor Venkatesh.
